On Friday, December 6, 2013, Hope From Helen held a silent auction at the Blockade Runner on Wrightsville Beach to benefit local and global organizations that are dedicated to health, education, animal welfare, the environment, as well as families and individuals in need.

As the second largest event to date, over 1,000 people attended and raised a little over $40,000.00 at the silent auction. “Funds will be dispersed in the next year to many worthy charities and people in need,” said Tony Butler, founder. “A big ‘Thank You’ goes out to the Blockade Runner Resort, Tower 7, Audi Cape Fear, those who donated auctioned items, those who bought auctioned items, event volunteers and all who attended the event. Thanks for making it one of the most fun-filled nights of the year.”
