The city of Wilmington celebrated the annual Wine and Chocolate Festival January 31 through February 2, 2014, at the Coastline Convention Center. Thousands showed up for the Grand Tasting and Marketplace events. It was a wonderful opportunity for folks to get out of the house and warm up after a week of snow and ice shut down the Cape Fear community. Proceeds went to VOCAL, an organization benefiting local senior citizens with financial support.
